Jumpstyle

Yes, it's true, the somehow boring and ugly dutch music named Gabber from back in the 90s is celebrating a revival. It is now called jumpstyle and I referenced it by conicidence, when blogging about the great lego music video of Jekyll & Hyde (Frozen Flame). Unfortunately there are lots of videos out on the web, just type jumpstyle and watch. Jeckyll & Hyde also released the new single freefall, which entered the chart list on #1 just this week. It is an ugly tune, so help yourself, if you want to watch it :)

However there are some videos on youtube, which are fun to watch. Jumpstyle is actually a dancing style, which can be done everywhere in public, even in Aldi supermarket. Enjoy!

Non stop!

Back in Holland for only 24 hours I discover the blazing new song of brainpower with the partysquad. Dutch rap to the fullest. The beat of the song is aligned to Snoop's "drop it like it's hot". And it is so cool. Watch it and listen!

Paris - a short review

Ok, that was my Paris trip. A little bit shorter, than planned, but ok. I will rank this trip as average. I was not really lucky with my accomodation. Additionally the weather was not the best, that's not a surprise in January. However I saw some nice spots and had a good time, I will not regret. Had two great reggae parties, nice work and some time to watch DVDs...

By now I do not have new travel plans. I would love to go to Jamaica, but that's just a all-time favorite.

Added Paris set on flickr....

that's where I will maintain any pictures of my current trip. So I will update the set as soon as I took new pictures. Enjoy!

First weekend in Paris

Ok, what can I tell? Explored the party scene myself and went to a reggae event in the east of Paris. The club is called Gambetta and it is a pretty small location. I met before some locals by coincidence and had a great time at the party. They played first some roots stuff but later switched to new ragga and soca stuff. That was really amazing and I can tell you I loved it.
The rest of the weekend was all about some sleeping, sightseeing and swimming. So overall a blazing weekend, I would not have expect that before. Unfortunately the WiFi connection at my accomodation is leaking, so I always have to struggle to put something on or get something of the web. That sux!
