Holy Americans

I am heading Frisco. I just passed california's state border. Tomorrow I will spend some time in the redwoods national park and then go towards Frisco. Today I met several people on the road. One was wondering, that the Germans are also driving left steared vehiles and another one (staff at www.dutchbors.com) was suprised that the Netherlands have an army....

However, traveling in the US is fun... I just put some pictures on flickr...

Arrived in Seattle

First night spend in a motel. I realized, that I am now traveling really alone. So everything is up to me.... that s cool. Weather is ok, I will discover the city center of Seattle today.

My trip to the US.... 1st post

Ughh... I am in Washington, D.C. It s just the start of my 3 weeks trip... It is an adventure by now... trust me. The americans are all nice, but that s it... I am quiet lucky, by having internet at my hotel, which is located near Dulles Airport. There is nothing to do... Besides going swimming, watching TV and writing emails. I went today to the center of Washington, D.C.... Took about 2 hours by public transportation. At first hotel shuttle to the airport, then bus to Washington and the subway to Pentagon City... Tomorrow the serious part of my stay in Washington starts...

On the 16th I will fly to Seattle, then I will drive to Frisco... and maybe visit a concert of Guru at the reddevillounge. Then back to Portland, attending the conference. In the end I will arrive just in time for the concert of UB40... So you see it s all about priorities...
